Monitoring

Monitoring is the dashboard page (/dash/explore/monitoring). Subtitle in the app: Daily changes across tracked people. Each row is a profile diff: someone left Palantir, flipped Open to work, joined Anduril.

Two different scopes

Surface	Who is included
Monitoring feed / Timeline	People on a List or Monitored on a Target. Pending Approval and Removed do not.
`GET /events`	Same membership as the feed.
Monitoring → Alerts	Each rule selects its audience and filters. The default is people you keep; a rule can also watch the whole graph.

Empty Monitoring means nobody is on a List and nobody is Monitored yet. Empty email does not mean the same thing.

The dashboard

Control	What it does
Feed / Timeline / Alerts	Review people, explore the same diffs over time, or manage alert rules. Timeline zoom: Day / Week / Month.
30d / 60d / 90d	Window.
Search filters	Same token bar as Search, including certification name or issuing-authority substring.
Saved list	Restrict the feed to one List.
Open to work / Between roles chips	Availability.
Job moves / back at work / text updates	Triage. Counts only show when that kind exists in the window.
Mark all seen	Clears the unread badge.
Clear all	Drops filters.
Alert on this view	Create an alert with the current filters and selected list.
Slack link	Open Alerts to configure delivery. Connect the shared Slack workspace in Settings → Integrations.

What the app calls the fields

Monitoring → Alerts → create or edit a rule. The Monitoring feed groups left/joined as Current company.

Where they go

Channel	Where in the app
Monitoring	Sidebar. Feed or Timeline.
Email	Monitoring → Alerts → select recipients on the rule.
Slack	Connect in Settings → Integrations, then choose a channel on each alert.
ATS / CRM / outreach	Poll GET /events.

Store shared webhook defaults under Settings → Integrations. Storing a URL alone does not enable delivery; choose destinations on each alert. For polling integrations, use the events API.

Recruiter setup

Accept people on Targets and/or add them to Lists — otherwise the Monitoring feed is empty.
Monitoring → Alerts → New alert → choose the audience and changes, such as Open to work, Left company, or Between roles.
Add email recipients or select a Slack channel. A whole-graph audience can include people outside your Lists and Targets.
Open Monitoring to read the feed.
